For a runner, dreams often come true only after many months—or even years—of hard work. For me, one of the greatest milestones was the 2025 Warsaw Marathon, where I finally managed to break the four-hour barrier.
It was my fifth marathon, but the road leading up to it was far from ideal. My preparation was disrupted by an injury, and illness struck shortly before race day. In fact, I was still taking antibiotics just two days before the start. Despite all of this, I managed to achieve something that had once seemed out of reach.
Csabi’s training plans played a huge role in making that possible. The program he designed was not only professionally structured but also flexible enough to adapt to challenging circumstances. It allowed me to pursue my goal while balancing training with raising two children. Thanks to his guidance, I was still able to perform at my very best on race day despite all the setbacks.
